Home-School Enrichment Program

Family Worship Center Academy, in partnership with Enrich Colorado, is excited to offer the INSPIRE program—part of the three-year rotating ICE Enrichment Series (INSPIRE, CREATE, ENGAGE)—to the Pueblo homeschool community for the 2026–2027 school year. This FREE, full-day enrichment program is open to homeschool students in grades K–8 who are not enrolled in other state-funded enrichment programs.
 

Program Details:

  • Day/Time: One day per week, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM

  • Includes: Free lunch and 30 minutes of physical education

  • Optional Add-On: 3:00–4:00 PM Biblical worldview class (privately funded)


INSPIRE Classes Include:

  • Bushcraft – outdoor survival skills, including shelter building, fire safety, knot-tying, and basic wilderness preparedness.

  • Foraging – explore local plant life, learning to identify edible species, understand seasonal growth patterns, and practice responsible harvesting.

  • Hunting and Marksmanship – age-appropriate firearm safety, outdoor ethics, and foundational skills related to hunting and wildlife stewardship.

  • Earth Science – Through experiments, nature-based observation, and interactive demonstrations, students investigate scientific principles in real-world outdoor settings

  • Gardening and Agriculture – Students engage in hands-on agricultural learning, from soil preparation and plant biology to sustainable growing practices.

Each student rotates through all class types during the day, gaining both creative and practical skills. Enrollment is limited and first-come, first-serve.
